Katy Perry confirms she's pregnant with hilarious Instagram Live video

Katy Perry first appeared to tease that she and Orlando Bloom are expecting a baby with her new 'Never Worn White' video.
Katy Perry is pregnant. The 35-year-old has announced that she and Orlando Bloom are due to have their first child together.
Last night (Mar 4), Katy Perry released a brand new song and video called 'Never Worn White'. The lyrics appear to be about her fiancé Orlando Bloom and how she's ready to get married to him. She sings: "It's so easy to surrender / When you finally find forever". On top of that, Katy essentially reveals that she's pregnant in the video. She cradles a very visible baby bump.

Now, Katy has confirmed that she is, indeed, with child with the most hilarious Instagram Live video to celebrate the news.

Following the release of 'Never Worn White', Katy went on Instagram Live. In the video, she turns the camera to her stomach revealing her pregnant bump and screams. Katy then explains: "There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for. Let's just call it a double whammy."
Katy says: "I’m excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music." She continues to add: ‘While it’s not the lead single, it’s a good way to start out. I had to reveal it at some point. It’s getting pretty obvious." In other words, a baby AND an album is coming.
Discussing the news further on Twitter, Katy wrote: "omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore" and "or carry around a big purse lol". We have no choice but to stan.

As it stands, Katy hasn't revealed a due date for the baby or a release date for her album but, seeing as they're both coming this summer, we won't have to wait long at all to find out more.
