Flawless clap back aside, this serves as an important reminder that we as a society need to stop being so obsessed with the weight of female celebrities and women in general. Not only that but we need to stop assuming that weight gain means that a star is pregnant. Women should be able to gain weight in peace and without scrutiny.
Over the past year, stars including Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus have discussed the way in which fans and the general public at large speculate that they are pregnant, whenever their weight fluctuates, and the negative impact that these rumours have.
