Plan B to star at EMAs

Plan B's amazing year is set to climax with a live performance at next  month's MTV Europe Music Awards.

The British star will appearing alongside Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Kings of Leon in Madrid. Shakira has also been added to the line up.

The 26 year old said, "This will be my first time in Spain and at the MTV awards. Nothing reminds me more of how far I've come in the last six months than opportunities like this."

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria's been announced as the host of the event to be held at Caja Magica in Madrid on November 7th.

The 35 year old follows in the footsteps of stars like Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake and says, "I am so excited to host the 2010 EMAs in the beautiful and sexy city of Madrid! I can't wait to see some fabulous performances and I am so proud that the two most nominated artists this year are two amazing women Lady Gaga and Katy Perry who are making some of the most exciting music in pop right now!"

It's shaping up to be a ladies night in Madrid with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga both up for five awards. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna go head to head in the Best Pop, Best Female and Best Song categories.

Finally, a warning from Ke$ha, "Madrid, watch out. I'm coming to party and I promise it will be messy."
