The 'Try With Me' singer is said to have been offered a permanent judging role on the ITV1 series.
Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly being lined up to take on the vacant judging panel seat on The X Factor.
According to reports that emerged today (2nd June), the 'Wet' singer has been offered £500,000 to join the new series of the ITV1 show, following the exit of Kelly Rowland at the end of last series.
"We are talking to Nicole about taking on the job full time. She is the only person in the frame," a source close to the show told The Sun this week. "It's now down to money and whether she can commit to the show, which takes up most of the rest of the year.
Last week (30th May) Nicole served as a guest judge for The X Factor live auditions in London, and was said to have given producers "positive signs" she would consider joining the show permanently.
Nicole served as a judge on The X Factor USA last year alongside Simon Cowell, LA Reid and Paula Abdul, but left at the end of the first series alongside Abdul and host Steve Jones.
The X Factor UK judge Tulisa Contostavlos tweeted after Nicole's guest stint that the two had got on really well together, and Nicole herself also thanked the UK fans for always being so supportive of her work.
Other stars to guest judge on The X Factor over the past week include Geri Halliwell, Leona Lewis and 'R.I.P.' singer Rita ora.
