The 'Try With Me' singer says she has been keeping busy with work to take her mind of being alone.
Nicole Scherzinger has opened up for the first time about her split from boyfriend Lewis Hamilton recently, and admits she "gets lonely" being in the UK but keeps herself busy with The X Factor UK and her solo music career.
The 'Boomerang' singer and Formula One driver Lewis recently confirmed their break-up after five years together on and off, and Nicole says she has been struggling without having friends or family here in the UK while she films the new series of The X Factor.
"I don't have anyone here, I don't have my family, I don't even have any friends here," Nicole told The Sun this week. "My publicist is my closest friend. It gets lonely but I'm working all the time.
"You just make those sacrifices and they made me feel so at home last year," the singer explained. "It is hard but you always make those sacrifices and it's worth it.
"I don't know what I would do, I just don't take days off," the US star explained about how she is coping. "I have to be working so I'm grateful for that.

"If I'm not doing X Factor I put myself in the studio," she added. "I also love good food, so I'm getting to explore lots of different restaurants here. I take my publicist and my assistant as my dates, literally!"
Nicole Scherzinger is expected to return with her second solo album towards the end of this year.
