Cardi B reveals she got liposuction after recent plastic surgery speculation

Cardi B has revealed that she recently had cosmetic surgery. The 'Money' rapper welcomed daughter Kulture with husband Offset in July last year and since then she has been open about her insecurities with her post-baby body.

Cardi sparked surgery rumours after she stepped out with a six pack at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on May 1. And then last weekend (May 4.), Cardi performed in Memphis, US, and she decided to share some private information on her procedure with the crowd.

She said: "I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today. I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna fuck up my lipo. But bitch, I'm still gonna get my motherfucking money bag, let's go!"

This came shortly after she admitted that she had her boobs redone after her daughter "fucked her up".

However, Cardi doesn't want her fans to think it's as simple as lying down on the operating table. Liposuction involves sucking the unwanted fat from the body to lose weight and contour your shape. It takes about two weeks to recover and a compression garment must be worn for weeks after the surgery.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cardi admitted that the recovery process has been extremely tough.

"I want to explain to people how hard it is to process," she began. "I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, 'Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy.' It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change and snapping it back."
