The Girls Aloud singer has taken a panning for her wardrobe choice at a New York gig.

The 'Insatiable' singer played a tiny gig at the Splash Club, where she took to the stage with her usually straight locks backcombed into a giant bird's nest topped off by a novelty plastic party hat.

She wore a pair of lace knickers, thigh high patent boots, a purple basque and long black gloves.
