McFly's Dougie Poynter Joins I'm A Celebrity

The group's bassist has been tipped to be named king of the jungle on the ITV series.
McFly's Dougie Poynter has been named the favourite to win this year's series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The bassist joins nine other celebrities in the jungle this weekend for the show's 11th series in a line-up that also includes The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright and Coronation Street favourite Anthony Cotton.
Bookmakers Paddy Power have given Dougie 4/1 odds to eventually be crowned king of the jungle.
Dougie says the band's schedule allowed him to take part in the show, but reassures McFly fans the 'Shine a Light' stars will be back with new material in 2012.
"We are definitely not splitting up," he told The Mirror. "We have actually been writing some new songs for a new album. We are hoping to release a new one next autumn."
Dougie also confirmed he is now in a new relationship following his much publicised split from girlfriend Frankie Sandford of The Saturdays last year.
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches on ITV1 this Sunday (13th November).
