The 'Beautiful' singer says she will be in a sling for the next two weeks following her injury.
Mariah Carey has offered fans an update on her recent shoulder injury.
The US star dislocated her shoulder during an incident on set of a video for a remix of her new single 'Beautiful'.
The singer took to Twitter to post a picture from her hospital bed – complete with sling.
Alongside the shot, she wrote: "dislocated my shoulder on the remix video with Jeezy, sporting a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks!"
Husband Nick Cannon was also present on the shoot as he was directing the promo.

He told the Today show how much of a "trooper" his wife is when he recalled the event this week.
"She's such a trooper," he said. "I was going to rush to the hospital with her, [but she said,] 'You get back in there and finish that video!' Then, after they put [her] shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything."
