The 'Seven Nation Army' singer says the Take That singer is "genuine" and thanks him for the support on debut album.

Marcus Collines has offered his praise to Gary Barlow after he "stayed true to his word" following the result of the X Factor.

The Take That star, who was mentoring the Liverpool born singer on the show, told him that he would take care of him regardless of the outcome of the final on the music reality show.

Speaking to The Mirror, Marcus confessed: "It's really cool working with him again. He stayed true to his word – he's a genuine guy."

The singer has already confessed that Gary is "like a dad" to him and he recently admitted that he is also looking forward to seeing the first solo album from Tulisa Contostavlos as he penned a track for her and is hoping it made it onto the finished record.
