She has no plans to follow in the infamous footsteps of Janet Jackson.

Madonna has promised that she won't suffer a wardrobe malfunction during her Half Time show at the Super Bowl in Indiana on Sunday (5th February).

The 53-year-old singer is set to take to the stage at the event for the first time at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the spectacle, the singer said she had gone to great lengths to put on the best show possible.

"In over 25 years of performing that I've done, I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-orientated or freaked out as much as I have had maintaining my sanity and trying to make the most major show at this Super Bowl," she said.

Asked about Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake during the 2004 Super Bowl Half Time show, Madonna assured fans there would not be a repeat.

"Great attention to detail has been paid to my wardrobe, there will be no wardrobe malfunction - I promise," she said.

Speculation is mounting about who may join Madonna on stage during her performance, with Will.i.am telling Capital FM recently that LMFAO are set to appear.

It is also rumoured that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, who both feature on Madonna's new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin'', could feature during the set.

Meanwhile, Madonna's reported Super Bowl set list has also been leaked online, and it includes several hits from her back catalogue.
