Madonna is desperately seeking a new 'material girl'

Madge is looking for a new model to promote her clothing range, replacing 'Gossip Girl' star Taylor Momsen.

The range was launched last year and is aimed at teenage girls.

On the company's official website, Madonna is looking for a new star

Next to a picture of 17-year-old Taylor an advert proclaims. "Desperately seeking Material Girl".

"Living in a material world and we need material girls. Looking for the hottest girl on the scene, she is never afraid. Hollywood is calling the next girl!... Wanted: Next big star. She makes her own fashion statement - trendy, but cool, young and hip."

Fans wil cast their vote to decide who gets the job.

Madonna's 14-year-old daughter Lourdes was heavily involved in the development of the clothes.
