The 'Party Rock Anthem' star says the 'Give Me All Your Luvin' singer and Michael Jackson are their biggest influences.
LMFAO star Redfoo says the duo agreed to perform with Madonna at the Super Bowl this year (5th February) because she is one of the biggest inspirations on their music.
The 'Sexy And I Know It' rapper has spoken out about their performance, which saw LMFAO joining Madonna for a mash-up of 'Party Rock Anthem' and her hit 'Music'.
"If Michael Jackson is our number one, Madonna is the number-two inspiration for everything LMFAO does," Redfoo told Rolling Stone in their March issue.
"I don’t know how many people were in the stadium, but they didn't exist," Redfoo explained. "All that existed was me and Madonna.
The 'Party Rock Anthem' rapper also revealed Madonna teased him about struggling to carry her during a certain section of the halftime show.
He added: "In rehearsal, she said, "If you were working out more, you could lift me a littler easier."
LMFAO previously said Madonna had given an inspirational speech to all of the performers involved in the Super Bowl halftime show before they headed out on stage.
