Kylie five years clear of cancer
Kylie Minogue is celebrating five years of being clear from breast cancer.
In an interview on a Spanish TV show, the singer says the landmark anniversary is a "big achievement".
The 42-year old says she's had some horribly low moments, but has had a lot of support from around the world.
Kylie was diagnosed with the disease in May 2005. By January 2006 she had been given the all clear, but only after chemotherapy and a partial mastectomy.
The Australian star said she was still taking small steps forward. "It's baby, baby steps," she told the Daily Mirror. "I am an example of someone five years down the road and that is a big achievement."
Minogue also encouraged others to take all the help offered. "Sometimes you don't want to be mollycoddled, you don't want people treating you like you're so ill. But . . . you have to let them help you. They are grieving as well," she said.
