The 'Gold Digger' rapper has been tipped to reveal some of the new songs next month on the US sketch show.

Kanye West has reportedly finished work on his brand new studio album just weeks before he is expected to debut new music on Saturday Night live.

It was confirmed earlier this week that the 'All Of The Lights' rapper will make his return to the US sketch show in early May, and Kanye is now said to have wrapped up work on the follow-up to 2010 album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'.

"I just heard that Def Jam had a listening last week and everyone at the label listening to the album and loved it," US DJ Peter Rosenberg revealed this week, reports Idolator. "I heard it's dark, but really good."

Kanye is widely known to have been staying in Paris, France in recent months working on his sixth studio offering, and is widely expected to bring some new songs to Saturday Night Live for his return to the show.
