Kanye West Claims Fifth Solo Number One As New Album 'Yeezus' Charts In America

The 'Gold Digger' rapper's new record 'Yeezus' claims the top spot in US.
Kanye West has scored his fifth solo number one album in America this week.
The 'All Of The Lights' rapper released his new record 'Yeezus' this month, which has gone straight to the top spot on the US Billboard Top 200 chart.
Kanye's new album has received high praise from critics across the globe, as well as courting controversy for some of the album's content and themes.
'Yeezus' is Kanye's first solo album since his 2010 release 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', although in the interim he teamed up with Jay-Z for their 'Watch The Throne' collaboration.
This week Kanye also became a father after girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, rumoured to be named North West.
Kanye West has also opened up about his new album and advised people not to take the things he says too seriously.
