JLS start work on new album

Certain members of JLS have made regular appearances in the tabloids in recent weeks, but it looks like they'll be taking a break from the partying as they head back into the studio to work on their second album.

In the report in today's Daily Star, the 'nation's favourite boyband' reveal who they'll be working with on one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

"We don't want to take our foot off the gas"

Having sold a million copies of their debut album, sold out venues across the country (with more dates coming up in December) and having picked up two BRIT Awards - for British Single and British Breakthrough Act, the band are keen to maintain their hectic workload.

So who will JLS be working with?

First person to be 'twiddling the knobs' is producer Labyrinth - who most recently worked on Tinie Tempah's Big Top 40 number 1, Pass Out.' Marvin told the Daily Star: "We're with Labyrinth this week and will be back and forth to LA to work with us. The quality will step as now people have seen our sales figures they;'re more open to work with us."

Also slated to work with the boys are production duo Stargate. Whilst their name may not be familiar, they are the producers and songwriters behind a whole slew of hits, including Ne-Yo's singles 'Closer' and 'Miss Independent', 'Beautiful Liar' - the collaboration between Beyonce and Shakira and several tracks for Rihanna including 'Unfaithful', 'Hate That I Love You' and 'Don't Stop the Music'.

Toby Gad will also be working on tracks with JLS. He has worked with, amongst others, Fergie, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, The Veronicas and Miley Cyrus.

What about working with Jason Derulo. When Capital's Rich & Kat recently caugght up with Jason, he said he'd be interested in working with JLs, and had spent a fun night out with the guys. Marvin says: "Emails are going back and forth with Jason Derulo about setting up time with him too."

We can't wait. The combination of some of the biggest song writers around working with JLS means we should get some world class tracks. But before we start celebrating, there's on big problem on the horizon. We're just a bit worried that this means the rumours abour JLS looking to break America are true, so what does that hold for us British fans? More importantly, if JLs move to America, what does that mean for sales of Nando's chicken in the London area?
