The 'Do You Feel What I Feel?' star says he admires his friend for asking for the Girls Aloud star's number.
JLS star Aston Merrygold has said that he is hoping his close friend Olly Murs can get together with Cheryl Cole after the 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer asked for her number on Twitter earlier this week.
The 'Take A Chance On Me' singer recently spoke out about his and Olly's single status saying they were both not in relationships out of choice, but hopes things can work out with the Girls Aloud star.
Speaking about the former X Factor singer's request, he told the Daily Star: "Fair play to him for giving it a go with Cheryl. I'm rooting for him."
Cheryl is yet to publicly respond to the Twitter comment made by Olly.
Meanwhile, JLS are ready to head out on their '4th Dminesion' UK tour and recently said it would be like "David Blaine meets The Matrix."
