JLS 'lose' Worst Band award

JLS have 'lost out' in the Worst Band category at the NME Awards.

The award went to the Jonas Brothers. The other bands nominated were '30 Seconds To Mars', 'Kings Of Leon' and Tokio Hotel.

Speaking to The Daily Record last week Oriste Williams said: 'I'm a big fan of NME, so I'm actually happy that we made it in.

'Whether it's for a good thing or a bad thing, we've been recognised.

'To be totally honest, I was disappointed that NME would even put us up for that award because we've brought something really significant to music.

'We also do a lot of charity work. So if NME thinks JLS are the worst band for all the good we're trying to do, I'd have to question them.'
