Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold speak to Capital FM about star's tragic death.

JLS have spoken to Capital FM about the death of Whitney Hosuton, who died suddenly last weekend.

The 48-year-old singer passed away at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles just hours before the Grammy Awards.

Speaking to Capital FM, Marvin Humes said the group had been left shocked by Whitney's death.

"I was devastated. I received a text from my dad – I work up to it on Sunday morning. It was terrible news," he said.

"She was undoubtedly one of the biggest female musicians of all time."

Aston Merrygold added: "There's been some tragic times over the years – Whitney, Michael [Jackson] - all the legends have sadly passed. But what I like to say is that everything remembered is never dead."

The JLS pair also revealed that the group's favourite Whitney Houston song was her classic hit 'I Will Always Love You'.
