JLS Star Aston Merrygold On Not Making New Year's Resolutions: "I Never Keep Them!"

The 'She Makes Me Wanna' singer says he prefers to make life changes "spontaneously".

JLS star Aston Merrygold says he has decided not to make any New Year's Resolutions for 2013 because he knows he won't stick to them.

The 'Hottest Girl In The World' singer admits he has struggled to maintain resolutions in the past so now he only makes a change in his life when he knows he will follow through with it.

"I don't make resolutions, I never keep them!" Aston revealed to the Daily Star this week. "If I want to change something in my life, I'll just do it spontaneously when I'm ready.

"If I say I'm gonna give up drinking or whatever, it won't happen," the JLS star added. "I like to go out and have fun too much."

The 'She Makes Me Wanna' four-piece enjoyed some time off over the Christmas period, with Aston out in Dubai to celebrate New Year, and the band are due to continue promoting recent album 'Evolution' over the next few months.

JLS will embark on their new 2013 UK arena tour in December this year by which time the band have promised fans they will also have a brand new album out.
