Hayley Williams reveals how she’s coping with social-distancing
Hayley Williams has officially ranked Paramore's iconic discography and Paramore and After Laughter come out on top.
Hayley Williams has revealed which Paramore albums she considers to be the band's best and her answers may shock you.
It's no secret that Paramore have made some of the best music of the last 15 years. Ever since they released their first single 'Pressure' in 2005, they've dominated the charts with hit after hit after hit. From controversial fan-favourite 'Misery Business' to multi-platinum smash 'Ain't It Fun', Hayley Williams, Taylor York, Zac Farro and their past group members never fail us.

How does Hayley rank their albums though? Well, she's just revealed that she rates Paramore and After Laughter best.
Opening up about Paramore with Vulture, Hayley spoke frankly about Josh Farro and Zac Farro leaving the band in 2010 and how it affected her. She said: "It sucked. You didn’t think you would come out of it." However, she then said that she moved on and she believes it led to Paramore's best work: "We made two albums since then that are the best we’ve ever made."
In other words, Hayley just confirmed that she thinks that Paramore and After Laughter are superior to their predecessors All We Know Is Falling, Riot! and Brand New Eyes. Given how much she has grown as an artist since 2005, this makes a lot of sense. However, we imagine that fans of the original three projects will have rankings that differ from Hayley's own.
The first three albums are more emblematic of Paramore's rock beginnings and the last two, while still rock, see Hayley and her bandmates experiment more with pop elements. All five offer something different but how you rank them will no doubt be dependent on your personal tastes.
Fans of Paramore's early work need not worry though. Hayley has recently hinted that the band's next album will be a return to hard rock. We can't wait to hear what it sounds like.
