The 'Sound Of The Underground' singer confirms plans to finally go solo.
Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding will release her debut solo album next year.
The 'Biology' singer first hinted at plans to launch her own pop career in 2010, but an album never came to fruition.
However, in an interview with Broadcast Exchange, Sarah said recording a solo album was now a priority and that fans could expect to hear new music in the coming twelve months.
"There's quite a lot going on this year but it's in the pipeline now so I can't really say much about that," she said, "but next year I am preparing for solo material so watch this space!"
In 2010, Sarah recorded three songs that featured on the soundtrack to St Trinian's 2, which she also starred in.
Meanwhile, Sarah's Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole confirmed to Capital recently that the group were planning something to mark their 10th anniversary this year.
The 'Call My Name' singer also said she would entertain the idea of musical based on Girls Aloud's career.
