The 'Something New' singer posts a surprising message that she is going to have a baby.

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has seemingly announced she is expecting her first child.

The UK singer, who is believed to be working on new music at present, shared a snap to announce that she is "having a baby" on Instagram earlier today (15th August).

'Something New' singer Nadine posted a picture of herself as part of the announcement, alongside the simple caption: "I am having a baby x".

The news will make 28 year-old Nadine the first member of the hugely successful UK girl band to become a mother.

It was recently rumoured that Nadine is back together with her ex-fiance Jason Bell, and American footballer, although she has yet to confirm the news.

Girls Aloud broke up earlier this year after a final rennin tour and greatest hits collection, with all five members going on to work on various solo project.

Nadine Coyle's bandmates have yet to officially comment on news of her pregnancy.
