The 'Call The Shots' girl band have spoken about their close relationships with their mothers.

Girls Aloud have opened up about their relationships with their mums just days before Mother's Day this weekend (10th March).

The 'Something New' five-piece have been taking their 'Ten' reunion tour across the country over the past few weeks, but took time to record a promo with Pandora to talk about how much they each value their mums.

"I think when you think of the word 'mother', you think of everything that is a good feeling," Cheryl explains in the new video clip. "Safe, supported, cherished, the most beautiful things.

"I have the most amazing relationship with my mother and she's been more like a friend to me over the years than a mother and a daughter, so I also see her as a best friend," the 'Under The Sun' star explained. "She's everything."

Cheryl's bandmate Nadine Coyle has also praised her own mother and their "special friendship" together, admitting they are more like best mates than family.

"Me and my mum have such a good relationship," the girl band star explained. "It's such a special friendship, it's like best friends.

"I would do everything with my mum, she's great," Nadine added.
