The 'Call The Shots' singer says she refuses to go on strict diets now after feeling they don't work in the long term.
Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh says she went on quick-fix diets "a lot" during her younger days but has since turned her back on them.
The 'Something New' singer says she often went on extreme diets before big events like a music video shoot, but prefers to try and stay healthy all the time now rather than taking on yoyo diets.
"Like most women, I dieted a lot as a teenager," Kimberley admitted to Cosmopolitan Body in their new issue. "I remember doing Atkins a few times before a video shoot.
"It worked, but it was always a quick fix," the former Girls Aloud star explained. "As soon as I stopped, I'd crave all the things I'd banned myself from and put the weight straight back on!
"I soon realised that I couldn't keep it up," Kimberley added. "I stopped dieting altogether when I was in my early 20s."
Kimberley also posed in several different swimsuits for a revealing photoshoot in the summer edition of the publication, as seen below (Credit: Harriett Johnsson/Cosmopolitan Body):
Kimberley Walsh stars in the new 3D film All Stars which was released in cinemas earlier this month.
