The official trailer for The Umbrella Academy season 2
Here Comes The End is inspired by The Umbrella Academy season 1.
It's here. Finally. The long-awaited trailer for The Umbrella Academy season 2 has arrived and not only have we been treated to a glimpse of what's ahead for the Hargreeves siblings, we've also just been blessed with a brand new Gerard Way song.
In case you didn't know (but like, honestly, how could you not?), My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard is the writer of the original Umbrella Academy comic book series, alongside artist Gabriel Ba, who illustrates the comics.

Adding a little spice to the season 2 trailer drop, Gerard has just released a brand new song based on the first season of the show, called 'Here Comes The End'. You can listen to the track in the trailer at the top of the page.
Speaking about the song and what inspired him to write it in a statement provided by Netflix, Gerard said: “I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of The Umbrella Academy was being shot; by the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality.”
