At the end of October, My Chemical Romance announced plans to reunite for a one-off show in 2020. Now, the band have shared their first photo together in years and their first picture since announcing their comeback.
This past Halloween, My Chemical Romance announced plans to reunite for a one-off show in 2020. Naturally, the news sent the internet into an absolute tailspin and, since then, people have politely suggested that perhaps Joe Jonas is entitled to an apology after he was mercilessly trolled for leaking the news in June. Amid all the excitement, My Chemical Romance have even added a few more planned shows in New Zealand, Australia and Japan. Yes, it's all happening now.

Despite all the reunion fan frenzy, My Chemical Romance still hadn't shared an updated band photo until this past weekend. On Sunday, November 17, the band's official Instagram page shared a black and white picture of Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, and Ray Toro sitting on the floor of a rehearsal space surrounded by instruments.
The caption is presumably the date the photo was taken, "11.15.19", though it was posted a couple of days later. This is the first band picture that My Chemical Romance have posted since announcing their comeback show last month and their first group photo together in years.

Meanwhile, last week My Chemical Romance's 2006 album, Welcome To The Black Parade re-entered Billboard charts, proving just how ready fans are to have the band back in their lives.
My Chemical Romance thanked fans for their support and excitement over the comeback, writing: βFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.β
