Emeli Sande: "BRIT Awards Nomination Is Incredible"

The 'Next To Me' singer says she still "can't believe" she won the BRITs 2012 Critics Choice Award.
Emeli Sande has described her BRIT Awards 2012 nomination and win as "incredible".
The 'Heaven' singer was presented with the BRITs Critics Choice Award during tonight's (12th January) nominations ceremony by previous recipient Jessie J, as well as being put up for British Breakthrough Artist.
Emeli also performed her next single 'Next To Me' at the nominations party, which also saw a performance from fellow nominee Ed Sheeran.
"@edsheeran KILLED it!" Emeli tweeted after the event. "So nice to meet @jessiejofficial properly!
"Can't believe I have a Brit and a nomination!! Incredible!!"
The 'Daddy' singer-songwriter is due to release her debut solo album 'Our Version Of Events' at the start of February, and recently announced 'Next To Me' as the album's third official single.
Voting for all of the categories at this year's BRIT Awards has now opened, including the British Single award, which is voted for by listeners of Capital FM.
Each listener who casts a vote for British Single will be entered into a competition to win a pair of tickets to this year's ceremony.
