The rapper's track 'Rockstar' could be set to end Gotye's current stay at the chart summit.
Dappy's latest single 'Rockstar' could be set to claim the number one spot on the Vodafone Big Top 40 this week after it debuted at number four last weekend.
The N-Dubz man's Brian May featuring track was the highest new entry and could give the star his second solo number one.
The track will be looking to end the run of Gotye who is aiming to make it one month at the top with his hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.
Elsewhere, X Factor runner up Marcus Collins releases his debut single 'Seven Nation Army' which is a cover of the alternative band White Stripes hit of the same name.
Other possible big impacts on the rundown could come from girl band Stooshe as their Travie McCoy featuring hit 'Love Me' aims to make a charge on the likes of Nicki Minaj and Emeli Sande.
The Vodafone Big Top 40 with Rich and Kat airs every Sunday from 4-7pm.
