Post Malone says he's not using drugs after concert video sparked concern from fans

"I'm not on drugs and I feel the best I've ever fucking felt in my life."

Post Malone has insisted he's in good health and not using drugs after a video from his show in Nashville, Tennessee, sparked concern among his fanbase.

On Wednesday night (Mar 4), footage from Post Malone's performance at the Bridgestone Arena started circulating the internet. In the video, Post appears to stumble and struggle to get up while performing his track 'I Fall Apart'.

While some of his fans insisted he was simply getting into the emotional song, others expressed concern for the rapper, who has previously admitted to having taken drugs and having had issues with his mental health.

Post, who is currently in the middle of his Runaway Tour in support of his album Hollywood's Bleeding across the US, has now confirmed that there's absolutely nothing to worry about. On Friday (Mar 6), Post interrupted his performance at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee, to address the situation.

"I'm not on drugs and I feel the best I've ever fucking felt in my life," he told the cheering crowd. "And that why I've been busting my ass for these shows and can fucking fall on the floor and do all that fun shit." He then thanked his fans for being concerned about his well-being, adding: "But for anybody that's concerned here, I appreciate the love and the support, but I feel fucking fantastic and I'm not doing drugs."

Post's tour photographer Adam Degross also supported that he had not been doing drugs on Instagram. Alongside a clip of Post, which appears to have been deleted, he wrote: "This has been one of the most fun tours we’ve been on. No one does drugs, no one is going nuts, everything is all good. He legit blew his nose during the space ghost Bigfoot video, which there’s like 40 Minutes more footage of. We just pass the time by making funny videos.

"The stage is made of grates, so you can see the light shine up, he caught his foot, and played it off. Then he always makes those faces during 'Rockstar' has done it for the last 100 shows."

Meanwhile Post Malone's father, Richard Post, also echoed that his son has been doing well on Twitter. Retweeting a tweet from February in which Post is playing the guitar, he tweeted: "I’m getting tired of it y’all. What does this video say? Coherently playing the guitar while simultaneously singing? Seems a lot harder than accidental slips and stage theatrics.

"I don’t want to come across as dismissive to those of you who have expressed concerned about Austin. Your sincerity and kindness regarding him is certainly heartwarming and appreciated. Stop attacking one another. Be kind, understanding and considerate."

He also retweeted the video in which Post Malone says he's fine, alongside the caption: "In case you didn’t hear my last tweet.
