Coldplay Perform 'Paradise' And 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' On American Idol – Video

The British band make a triumphant debut on the hit US music reality show.

Coldplay took to the stage on American Idol last night (3^rd May) to perform their hit singles 'Paradise' and 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'.

The 'Charlie Brown' band gave a striking visual showcase of their 'Mylo Xyloto' tracks on the results show of the US music reality series.

The energetic audience were in high spirits with their wristbands flashing as Chris Martin lead the British star's through the rousing renditions of their singles.

The band are currently on their North American leg of their world tour and have been performing their latest single 'Princess Of China' with a exclusive clip of a Geisha dressed Rihanna behind.

Coldplay will also be making their way to Wembley Stadium to perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball this summer alongside the likes of Usher, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
