Rumours stateside suggest that Christina Aguilera will open this year’s Grammy Awards just days after a controversial Super Bowl performance.
Aguilera performed the national anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl with a performance which was described as ‘strained’ and also saw her forgetting the lyrics.
This time around reports suggest that fellow U.S diva Jennifer Hudson will join her on stage to pay tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
The awards take place this Sunday with performances also expected from the likes of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Rihanna.
