The 'With Ur Love' singer is now ahead of the Girls Aloud star after her huge success in America last year.
Cher Lloyd has officially become more popular than her former mentor Cheryl Cole on Twitter.
The 'Swagger Jagger' star, who rose to fame on the 2010 series of The X Factor UK after being championed by 'Call My Name' singer Cheryl, overtook the Girls Aloud star recently and now has around 30,000 more followers.
Cher launched her music career in 2011 and has gone on to achieve huge success in America in the past year after launching her debut album 'Sticks + Stones' towards the end of 2012.
The 'Want U Back' star now has 3,573,834 followers on the social networking website, compared to the 3,549,611 that Cheryl has following her own official Twitter account.
While the pair were originally inseparable during Cher's time on The X Factor UK, their relationship has soured in the time since Cher left the show and they engaged in a brief war of words last year after the young pop star seemingly accused Cheryl of using auto tune.

At the end of 2012 Cher Lloyd confirmed plans to start working on her second solo album for an expected release later this year.
