The 'Want U Back' singer credits fiance Craig Monk with making her feel "content" and "happy" with life.
Cher Lloyd says she was "aggressive" and "cocky" during the months after her appearance on The X Factor but says fiancé Craig Monk has helped "mellow" her and has changed her as a person.
The 'Swagger Jagger' singer came fourth on the 2010 series of The X Factor UK and has revealed she built up a persona for herself and feels she was an "absolute b****h" during her time on the show.
"I was an absolute b***h. I raise buy hands up to it," Cher revealed to The Sun this week. "I was aggressive, I was cocky. I built up this big persona of the bees knees and then I had to deal with it and pick up the pieces."
Cher went onto say she felt frustrated after reading all the negative press about herself in the tabloids and online, but feels "content" and happy now she has settle into the role of a pop singer.
"I feel content and I'm happy," Cher explained. "It can be a very lonely business but I'm in a great relationship. Being with Craig has changed me as a person.
"I've mellowed and he whips me into shape," the 'With Ur Love' singer added. "If I'm having a tantrum he sees things from a different angle and tells me, 'It's not the best time to do this Cher!'"
