Paramore are releasing a new collab with Crap Eyewear while they are on hiatus.
Paramore have opened up about taking a break from music alongside a Crap Eyewear collab announcement on Instagram.
Last month, Hayley Williams sent the Parafamily into a state of mourning after she confirmed that Paramore have no plans to release any new music at the moment. Speaking to ET, Hayley said, "I really don’t know what’s next for Paramore. The guys and I just had dinner the other night at my house," before saying that the reunion wasn't music related. "I think we’re just really enjoying being friends and adult human beings at home by ourselves without music.” It's okay. We cried too.

Now Paramore have explained why they're taking some time off in a candid new letter on Instagram.
Taking to Instagram, Paramore wrote: "This Friday" and shared a photo of a letter announcing a new collaboration with Crap Eyewear, as well as some words on their current hiatus. The band said: "Dear friend, thank you for purchasing our signature rose-colored glasses, which were lovingly crafted by Crap Eyewear in collaboration with us." They continued: "Though life isn't always rosy, we all deserve to pretend a little sometimes. These should help."
They then added: "In light of Paramore's current absence from the outside world, we thought it'd be fun to remind you that the time we shared with you during After Laughter was one of the happiest in our band's career, thus far." They also stated: "Thank you for understanding that we are taking a really nice break after grinding away for nearly 15 years. It's so good to have a moment to just "be"."
Paramore ended the letter encouraging their fans to also give themselves time off. "Consider this our way of encouraging you to do the same and to take care of yourself however you feel is best." Shutting down all rumours of a potential split, Hayley, Taylor York and Zac Farro each signed the letter writing: "Paramore forever. We love you".
In other words, Paramore are still together. They are just taking some well-earned rest and will be releasing music and touring again whenever they feel ready. Until then, we've got some new rose-colored glasses to purchase.
