RULES

1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at https://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/) apply to the “The Light” online competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 13th January 2020 to Sunday 9th February 2020 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM Yorkshire.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the competition:

3. To enter the competition an entrant must go online to www.capitalfm.com, answer a question correctly and register their details for the chance to win. Online entry will open at 00:01 on Monday 13th January 2020 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 9th February 2020.

4. One winner will be selected at random from all the correct and eligible entries. 

6. The winner’s name, address and email will be shared with staff members at Global and The Light Leeds for the prize to be carried out.

Eligibility:

7. The competition is open to persons aged 18 years or over. 

8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person, duplicate entries will be removed.

9. The competition is not open to The Light or Global staff.

10. Entrants must be from Yorkshire postcodes- DN, BD, LS, YO, WF, HD, HX, S, HG and HU.

Prize:

11. One winner will receive:

  • 1 x standard room for two people at the Radisson Blu at the Light Leeds for one night. Breakfast is included

  • £100 cheque to cover the cost of one meal for two with drinks at the restaurant of the winner’s choice within the Light, Leeds

  • One game of golf at Junkyard Golf for two people.

  • One film screening at The Light Leeds Vue Cinema for two people.

  • £200 spending money (cheque) which will be sent via post directly to the winner's address within 28 working days of the competition win

12. All prizes (excluding £200 spending money) are to be redeemed at The Light Leeds at the address- The Light, 22 The Headrow, Leeds LS1 8TL.

13. The prize must be taken altogether within 6 months of winning and excludes Easter bank holidays, Valentine's day, & Bank holidays.

14. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

15. Full prize redemption will be discussed with the winner.

16. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
