Yorkshire Olympic Cycling Star In Crash

Yorkshire cyclist Lizzie Armitstead has been taken to hospital after at least 5 women were injured at the finish line of the Women’s Tour of Britain.

The Otley woman was given gas and air at the scene after coming off her bike at Aldeburgh in Suffolk

There were sombre faces but huge cheers from the crowd as Lizzie’s team collected the winner’s trophy for her.
