Woman Found Dead In Barnsley Named

A woman who was found dead at her home in West Street, Goldthorpe has been identified.
35 year old Lucy Jones was found by officers on Saturday (8 October) at 10.20am.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death was a result of multiple injuries from a prolonged attack.
A murder investigation was launched and officers have charged Liam Fletcher, of Elizabeth Street, Goldthorpe, with murder.
He has been remanded into custody.
