Two Year Old Girl Dies In Bradford

A two year old girl has died after she was found unconscious in a street in Bradford.

It’s thought she fell from an upstairs window of a house on Delamere Street.

Her mum has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 36 year old was found unconscious alongside the girl yesterday

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Jon Morgan said: "Police were called by paramedics to Delamere Street, Bradford, following reports that a woman and child had been found unconscious outside the back of an address.

"The child, a two-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

"The woman, who is believed to be 36, was also taken to hospital where she is currently being treated for her injuries. She remains in a critical condition.

"A forensic post-mortem is due to take place."
