South Yorkshire man jailed for life

A Sheffield man has been jailed for life after he stabbed his girlfriend to death when she told him she wanted to split up.

Polish student Weronika Gospodarczyk suffered multiple wounds when she was attacked at her flat last September. She was repeatedly stabbed with a kitchen knife.

29-year-old Colin Campbell will have to serve a minimum of 15 years for killing the 23-year-old.
