Sheffield Amongst Best Cities In The UK to Study

Students rate Sheffield one of the best places to study in the UK.

Sheffield was named joint second along with nine other cities that were rated across five criteria: going out, shops, transport, community and facilities.

The survey, carried out by accommodationforstudents.com asked students to review 62 university towns and cities across the UK.

46,000 student reviews gave Sheffield a rating of 62%

Newcastle topped the poll with 64%.

Joining Sheffield were Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Exeter, Brighton, Leamington Spa, Dundee and Aberdeen.

Salford was rated the worst in the UK, scoring just 48%
