Pair Bailed Over York Teen Drug Death

A 26 year old woman and a 23 year old man have been bailed over the death of a York student.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

16 year old Poppy Rodgers, died at York District Hospital after being found seriously ill at a house on Tang Hall Lane on Thursday night.

It’s she along with a 21 year old man tool "a yellow/white paste" which could have contained amphetamine.

The man is still in hospital, but he is no longer in a critical condition.
