Man Badly Hurt in Wombwell Attack

Police are investigating a serious assault that happened around 9pm on Tuesday in High Street, Wombwell.
A man in his early 40s was left with head injuries after the attack and is being treated at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
High Street in Wombwell is closed this morning while police investigate. There estimate it will re-open around 1pm.
