Inmate Found Dead At Doncaster Prison

A 21-year-old prisoner has been found hanging in his cell at Doncaster Prison.

Adam Wileman, who was on remand accused of actual bodily harm, was found at Doncaster Prison in South Yorkshire on Monday night.

He is the fourth prisoner to be found hanging in his cell in England and Wales this month.

A Prison Service spokesman said:

'HMP Doncaster prisoner Adam Wileman was found hanging in his cell at approximately 8.15pm on Monday August 22.

'Staff attempted resuscitation and paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at approximately 9pm.

'As with all deaths in custody, the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will conduct an investigation.'
