Fresh Appeal Over Leeds Businessman's Unsolved Murder

A fresh appeal for information's being made by the brother of Leeds businessman John Luper, 12 years after his death.

John was 57 years old when he died during a robbery at his home in Sandmoor Drive, Alwoodley, which happened overnight on February 16th to 17th, 2004.

His wife Iycian, daughter Liza-rose and their au pair were tied up upstairs, while robbers stole cash and jewellery worth around £100,000.

Mr Luper was found unconscious downstairs, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Despite exhaustive investigations at the time and over the last 12 years, no one has ever been brought to justice for his death.
