A rapist has pleaded guilty to a series of attacks on a 15-year-old schoolgirl part-way through his trial.
26 year old Mohammed Ali Rehman, had been on trial at Leeds Crown Court along with a number of other men who were charged with various sex offences.
A jury heard how Rehman's victim, who is now 17, was taken to three different houses in Dewsbury where she was raped and sexually assaulted during the course of one evening in May 2010.
Video clips showing the naked teenager being indecently touched were shown to the jury during the opening of the trial.
But on Wednesday, Rehman, of Tanhouse Street, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, changed his pleas and admitted three counts of raping the girl and another count of attempted rape.
Another defendant, 23 year old Faisar Younas, of Textile Street, Dewsbury, admitted sexual activity with a child and the prosecution decided not to pursue a charge of rape against him.
45 year old Larasab Hussain, of Headfield Road, Savile Town, Dewsbury, admitted a charge of sexual assault.
The prosecution announced it would offer no further evidence against the other defendants - Saqib Hussain, 31, of Huddersfield Road, Dewsbury; Hasan Rehman, 18, of Tanhouse Street, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury; and Wahid Hussain, 19, of Broomer Street, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury.
The jury was discharged from reaching verdicts on these three men.
Leeds Crown Court officials confirmed no dates had yet been fixed for sentencing in this case. The three men who were convicted of offences were remanded in custody.
