Police investigating the death of a 17 year old in Leeds have arrested a 27 year old man from Woodhouse on suspicion of murder.
17 year old Kieran Lee Butterworth died after being stabbed multiple times in the chest on Back Seaforth Road in Harehills yesterday afternoon.
The 17 year old was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he died a short time later.
A post mortem found that Kieran died as a result of multiple stab wounds to his chest.
Today, the area around Back Seaforth Avenue and Foundry Approach remains cordoned off while the scene continues to be forensically examined.
The 27 year old is being questioned by police.
