A group of thrill seekers have been rescued by firefighters after getting stuck on a Skegness fairground ride.
Four crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service went to Grand Parade in Skegness, on the Lincolnshire coast, this afternoon after 22 passengers became stranded on the Surf Rider, which swings a carriage of people around 360 degrees.
A spokesman for the fire service said there were no reports of any injuries but each of the passengers, a mixture of adults and children, would be checked out by ambulance service staff as a matter of routine.
Firefighters from Skegness, Spilsby and Wainfleet used a hydraulic platform along with ``man power and a rope'' to rescue the riders one by one.
