As students across the country eagerly open their exam results, there's been tears of joy and sorrow, but for one boy who opened his results live on air, the devastation is real AF.

Opening your A-Level results is possibly the most nerve wracking thing you'll have to do in life, and over half a million kids have found out their fate today, so why not take that golden opportunity and agree to do it live on air on Good Morning Britain? Sounds like a great shout, right?

That's what 18-year-old Niall from Hull decided to do this morning, and don't worry guys, he only needed to get an A* and an A to study Russian at either Cambridge or Edinburgh. So, no pressure.

As he begins to read the results out it becomes pretty clear they aren't as high as hoped, a B in German, an A in Maths and a B in Physics, which he says 'isn't quite what I needed'.

Niall, mate. That was a savage thing to sign up to, and for that, we salute you- plus we would give an arm and a leg for those kinds of results!
